Diagnosticat cu cancer cerebral, cântăreţul Tom Parker luptă să îşi vadă copiii crescând. Tumoarea nu poate fi operată, iar speranţa de viaţă e de maximum 18 luni

Când credea că viaţa îi surâde, că trăieşte cea mai mare bucurie, cântăreţul Tom Parker a primit cel mai crunt diagnostic din partea medicilor: cancer cerebral. Se luptă să îşi vadă copiii crescând, însă speranţa de viaţă la pacienţii cu o astfel de tumoare este de aproximativ 18 luni. Ce rămâne de făcut? 

Tom Parker are o relaţie cu Kelsey Hardwick, colega lui din liceu. În urmă cu aproximativ un an de zile au devenit părinţii unei fetiţe superbe: Aurelia. Micuţa le-a umplut sufletul de bucurie, de împlinire. Habar nu aveau prin ce clipe cumplite aveau să treacă câteva luni mai târziu!

Partenera artistului a rămas însărcinată şi pentru a doua oară. Invitat într-o emisiune TV, Max George, fostul coleg de trupă al lui Tom Parker, a dezvăluit faptul că soţia lui Tom Parker a născut cel de-al doilea copil al cuplului săptămâna trecută. Toate aceste bucurii sunt umbrite de cel mai crunt diagnostic. Cântăreţul a fost diagnosticat cu cancer cerebral. 

Are o tumoare care nu poate fi operată: "Simţeam că ceva nu este în ordine, dar nu m-am gândit nicio secundă că ar putea fi ceva de genul ăsta. Doar la asta mă pot gândi acum", a declarat Tom Parker într-un interviu pentru OK! Magazine.

Artistul s-a bazat pe ajutorul mai multor specialişti, acum face radioterapie şi chimioterapie. Şansa lui e ca dimeniunea tumorii să se reducă, căci nu poate fi operată. Conform unor păreri avizate, speranţa de viaţă pentru cei care au genul acesta de tumoare este de maximum 18 luni.

Boala s-a manifestat violent, a suferit un atac în luna iulie, urmat de altul peste fix şase săptămâni. A făcut un RMN, iar atunci s-a aflat şi diagnosticul: "A fost oribil. M-au sunat şi mi-au spus la telefon ‘E o tumoare şi e cel mai rău scenariu’. A fost ca şi cum totul s-a oprit. Bineînţeles că e rău atunci când ţi se spune că ai o tumoare, dar să afli că e cel mai rău tip e o informaţie greu de digerat. Singurul lucru la care mă gândeam era ‘Ce se va întâmpla acum şi unde este viaţa noastră?'"
