Premiile acordate în urma voturilor asociaţiei americane a criticilor de film sunt cel mai bun indicator pentru cei care ar putea primi, pe 22 februarie, şi mult râvnitele trofee Oscar.

Ieri seară, aşa cum s-a întâmplat şi la Globurile de Aur, filmul Boyhood a fost marele câştigător, adjudecându-şi premiul pentru cel mai bun film şi cel pentru regie, graţie lui Richard Linklater. Cantitativ, însă, filmul Birdmana depăşit pelicula Boyhood, cu şapte trofee, inclusiv cel pentru cel mai bun actor, Michael Keaton, şi cel mai bun scenariu original: Alejandro G. Iñárritu, Nicolás Giacobone, Alexander Dinelaris Jr., Armando Bo.

Cea mai bună actriţă a fost numită, conform aşteptărilor, Julianne Moore, pentru rolul din “Still Alice”, iar cea mai bună actriţă în rol secundar, Patricia Arquette, cu interpretarea din “Boyhood”.

Cel mai bun film-comedie a fost numit The Grand Budapest Hotel, cel mai bun film de acţiune Guardians of the Galaxy, iar cel mai bun SF, Interstellar. The Lego Movie, exclus de pe lista nominalizărilor la Oscar, s-a ales cu premiul pentru cel mai bun film de animaţie.

Mai mult de jumătate dintre câştigătorii Critics’ Choice Awards de până acum au câştigat, mai târziu, şi premiile Oscar aferente categoriilor lor.
