Când este vorba, însă, de o cauză nobilă, o provocare precum aceasta capătă cu totul alt sens. Serena Williams a acceptat astfel să intre în campania „I Touch Myself”, împotriva cancerului la sân, lăsându-se filmată topless, în timp ce cântă piesa de la Divinyls, ce poartă chiar numele proiectului: “I Touch Myself”. “Este luna dedicată luptei împotriva cancerului la sân, iar eu am înregistrat o versiune a acestui hit pentru a le reaminti femeilor să-şi palpeze periodic sânii”, a scris Serena pe contul său de socializare media. “Da, acest proiect m-a scos din zona mea de confort, dar am vrut să fac asta fiindcă este vorba de o problemă care trebuie să fie o prioritate pentru toate femeile din lume, indifferent de rasă. Detectarea incipient a cancerului e cheia care salvează atâtea vieţi”, a mai scris sportive de 37 de ani. Iar piesa interpretată de  ea nu a fost aleasă doar pentru că titlul este cel al campaniei, ci şi pentru că Chrissy Amphlett, artista de la Divinyls, a murit în 2013, la 53 de ani, după o lungă bătălie cu cancerul la sân. Până acum, filmuleţul Serenei a strâns aproape 2 milioane de vizualizări.
